What update 2.5 actually adds

Cyberpunk 2077’s version 2.5 adds an Edgerunners 2 side quest alongside new ways to fight, customise V and explore Night City. It launched on 22 October for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The patch notes list later delivery for Nintendo Switch 2 and the Mac App Store edition.

The new quest, Clampdown, takes place before the anime. It unlocks after The Heist and two Wakako gigs, followed by a message from her. A new Cool-tree perk introduces dual wielding for Power-category pistols and revolvers, with supporting perks for the playstyle.

There is also an in-game panel for browsing and installing a supported selection of mods, a guided city-tour quest, additional tarot collectibles and a new radio station. Console players gain a field-of-view slider. One important catch: console saves using mods cannot earn achievements or trophies.
